We are delighted that you are considering joining the American Academy of Dental Science (AADS) as a new member of your educational family. "AADS" offers training that focuses primarily on the core skills and information needed to work in a dental practice. We strive to provide dental assistant training that helps students to complete their education and find work in the shortest amount of time possible!

Courses

  • The entry-level dental assistant course is created as an introduction for the students to the dental field.

  • Students are taught to become competent and proficient dental assistants. 

  • This is an 8-week long course

 Certifications

  • This certification is for a dental assistant who has been formally trained by a licensed dentist in expanded functions and duties with a minimum of 3 months of the job training.

  • Both in house and hands-on training.

  • This course lasts 1 day.

DENTAL X-RAY REFRESHAL  CERTIFICATION

  • The combo certifiction is meant for the dental assistant who has been formally trained by a licensed dentist experienced in expanded Functions with a minimum of 3 months on the job.

  • Both in house and hands-on training.

  • This certification lasts 1 day.

EFDA AND DENTAL X-RAY COMBO CERTIFICATION

EXPANDED FUNCTIONS OF DENTAL ASSISTING CERTIFICATION (EFDA) 

  • The EFDA certification course consists of 8 hours of training to include 4 hours of didactic in house training and 4 hours of clinical hands-on training of expanded functions dental assisting tasks.

Our Goals

OUR GOALS

The American Academy Of Dental Assistants (AADS) realizes that there is a high demand for dental assistants. Practitioners are often forced to hire individuals with little or no training and experience in the field for then providing the on-the-job training without noticing that there's a certain amount of previous experience needed.  AADS has created a training program made in order to meet the demands of the dental community.

Our goal is to prepare students to go from the classroom to the workplace quickly by providing them with the hands on training needed to work in a dental practice.

The objective of AADS is to provide training that focuses solely on the fundamental skills and the knowledge required to work in a dental office. 

​

We prioritize the hands-on practices since we desire our students to get familiarized with the dental office environment.
